Tom Covino

 

Tom grew up on Long Island playing golf at Bethpage Black Course. He went on to become a golf professional in New York before moving to Texas. He has been a golf instructor at DSP Golf since 1994. His passion is teaching beginners, juniors, and highly experienced golfers with a special focus on short game and putting. Tom has learned much of his putting, chipping and pitching skills from the former Ryder Cup Captain, Dave Stockton.

Highlights include but not limited to:

  • 3 Junior golfers turn professional
  • Many Juniors receive D1 scholarships to universities like: Baylor University, UT, and Arizona State.
  • One student who made the final Drive Chip and Putt Championship at Augusta National.
  • Taught clinics and invented golf training aids with Dave Stockton.
  • Inventor of Clutch Putts NFL, First Foot, Birdzone Putting, and Tour Gate.
